Donna Lee Tobin, 56, Kokomo, left this world suddenly at 9:02 am on Sunday July 24, 2022. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on June 5, 1966, to Addison and Rachel (Colgan) Elvidge. On March 31, 1991, she married Thomas Greenleaf Tobin II, and he survives. Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Donna was a 1984 graduate of North Eastern Clinton High School in Champlain, NY, and then attended college at Florida Bible College and received an associate degree. She then enjoyed her time as a hairstylist for four years. She worked for B.O.C.E.S. as a Teacher's Aid helping developmentally disabled children and young adults. She attended the Nazarene Church in Plattsburgh and was a member for the last 4 years at Abundant Life Church. She enjoyed learning, nature, walking, singing, bike riding, and spending time with family. She loved caring for others, and she enjoyed reading books on religion and psychology. Though a hard worker, she knew how to cut loose, relax, and enjoy a good episode of Gunsmoke. Most of her evenings were spent either with the family, messaging loved ones, or at church.
Along with her husband, Donna is survived by her stepdaughter, Caitlin (Jeremy) King; children Rachel (Kevin) McGregor and Joseph (Mykayla) Tobin; mother, Rachel Elvidge; 5 grandchildren; brothers, Chuck (Chris) Elvidge and James (April) Elvidge; beloved aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Addison, and her brother, David.
