Darrell A. Miller, 85 of West Fargo, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Bethany on University in Fargo.
Darrell was born on May 24, 1928 in Erhard, MN to Dewey and Daisy (Bugbee) Miller. He married Doris Erickson on July 10, 194£ at First Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, MN. Darrell worked as a school bus mechanic and foreman for many years in Pelican Rapids and retired from Utility Equipment in 1993 and also worked with his son at Do-It-Now Services. Darrell was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in West Fargo and worked there as a custodian. Darrell was an avid fisherman, deer hunter, tinkerer, carpenter and was the best mechanic that many people knew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jean and his brothers, Dale and Bruce.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Doris; children, Diane (Greg) Anderson, Lorretta (Dennis) Rostad, Dale Miller, Jackie (Bruce) Balfour, Joan (Todd) Ritchey, Dewey (Kim) Miller; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
