MINDEN COURIER August 10, 1933:
Injured In An Auto Accident
Mr. and Mrs. John Kauffelt and Mr. and Mrs. Huberrt Johnson were all injured, Mrs. Johnson very seriously when the Kauffelt car turned turtle on the road six miles north and about three miles west of Minden Sunday. There are some sharp dips in the road and it is believed this caused the car to tum over.
Mrs. Johnson was taken to the Seeley hospital and is being treated there. We understand that she is showing some improvernent today, Wednesday. She suffered partial paralysis from back injuries and this condition has not cleared up. Mr. Johnson was somewhat bruised but hs able to be about.
Mr. Kauffelt suffered some cracked ribs and was cut and bruised considerably. Mrs. Kauffelt escaped with minor injuries.
