Lloyd Johnson, Minden, dies when carbon monoxide fumes fill car.
Kearney, Neb. One Minden youth is dead and two others were taken unconscious to a hospital here early sunday after carbon monoxide fumes filled the automobile in which they were riding south of Kearney.
Lloyd Johnson, 22, was dead when removed from the car. Wallace Johnson, about 26, and Nels Nelson, about 24, who were overcome by the fumes will recover, hospital attendants said.
Sheriff George Sears said Wallace Johnson and Nelson told him they were wery tired and had stopped the car by the pavement leaving the engine running. George Nelson, near whose home they stopped, saw the car and investigated.
