Lillian Boyer, 66
The funeral for Louise Lillian Boyer, 66, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from Immanuel Lutheran
Church, Alliance, with the Rev. Donald A. Rieman officiating. Mrs. Boyer died Dec. 20 in Yuma, Ariz.
She was born July 12, 1915 in Denton and raised in the Berea area. She was a teacher in rural Box Butte and Dawes counties prior to her marriage to Roy O. Boyer, May 24, 1942 in Alliance. She lived with her husband on a farm west of Alliance before moving to Rushville where they were owners of Sheridan Livestock Market from 1955 to 1970. They lived in Alliance from 1972 to 1980 and then moved to Thermopoiis, Wyo.
She is survived by her husband, Roy of Thermopolis; two sons, Steven of Thermopolis and William of Hebron; two daughters, Kathryn Ramsey of Thermopolis and Susan Pond of Yuma; two sons-in-law, Dave Ramsey and David Pond; two daughters-in-law. Vicky Boyer and Pat Boyer; a brother, Chris Nielsen of Alliance; four sisters, Esther Von Burgen of Aliiance, Mary Donovan of Ogallala,
Edith Smith of Alliance and Gladys Solberg of Longmont, Colo.; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elise Nielsen.
A memorial is being established to her memory and may be left for the Louise Boyer Memorial Fund at Bates-Landa Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Alliance Cemetery.
