Donna Dale Fife (nee Goldstein) Was born May 20, 1962 in Maywood, Nebraska and died January 19, 2009 in San Jose, CA. Donna married her partner and best friend Mark Fife in 1984, the same year she began her career at ASRS. Donna was a beloved foster mother to Amanda and Shane, a deeply loved sister, daughter, aunt, niece, granddaughter and cousin. A treasured friend, coworker and neighbor, she will be missed by the many who wish her a safe journey. We love you till the end of time, Donna, we'll see you in camp. A celebration of Donna's life will be held on Saturday, Jan 31 at 11:00 am at Lima Family Mortuary 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA.

Mark Alan Fife of San Jose, CA, at the age of 53, joined his best friend and loving wife of 25 years Donna in Heaven on May 23, 2013. Mark was born January 26, 1960 in Yakima, WA. He joined the Navy in 1978 and traveled to many parts of the world. In 1984 Mark married his soul mate Donna and they built a great life together. Mark was skilled in electronics and worked at Trimble Navigation for many years. Mark and Donna were a loving and giving couple who took on the role of mother-figure and father-figure to Shane Carlson and Amanda Comer, offering them guidance towards their futures. He was a loving, caring, artistic man, who was a very talented sketch artist who created brilliant, passionate works of art. The sound of Mark's laughter, how he loved to talk politics, his passion for collectables, his love of the outdoors and camping, made him who he was; a very special person! He was his happiest at Mount Lassen, a place both he and Donna truly loved.
Mark is survived by his father Bill (Tommie) Fife of Selah, WA; mother Rosann (Eddie) Quilty of Little Rock, AR; brothers: Tim Fife, Jim Fife, Mike Fife, Dan Yarbrough, Jonathan Ray, and David Ray; sisters: Tonya Fife, Kendy Merritt, Kelly Briskey, and Anne McBride; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife Donna, his biological father Harold Ray and his brother Lonny Yarbrough.
A celebration of life took place in San Jose, California on May 31, 2013 at the Trinity Presbyterian Church. Mark's ashes will be buried at the Wenas Cemetery at a later date. Mark was a wonderful and endearing person who was loved by all and will be greatly missed. "Keep the fire burning" until we meet again.
