Maurice Ingvald Hansen was born January 12, 1936, to Ingvald and Martha (Fugleberg) Hansen, in Fargo, ND. He grew up in Dilworth, MN, where he graduated from high school in 1954.
Maurice enlisted in the Air National Guard in 1958 where he served for twenty-nine years.
On October 24, 1959, Maurice married Glenice Miller in Fergus Falls, MN. They made their home in Dilworth where they raised their two sons. Maurice worked as a truck driver for various businesses including NP Transport, Red Owl, Super Valu, and Transystems Inc., from which he retired in 1999. In 1997, after living for thirty-eight years in Dilworth, Maurice and Glenice moved to rural Glyndon, MN.
Maurice battled with cancer and was taken from his family and given to the Lord on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at the age of sixty-nine. He was receiving loving care in his home from the Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Maurice will be remembered for his love of old cars. He would spend many hours collecting and restoring them. He was a hard worker and a man of strong faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Glenice L. Hansen, 71, Glyndon, MN, died peacefully at MeritCare Palliative Care in Fargo, ND, on Saturday, May 24, 2008.
Glenice Lorraine Miller, the daughter of Carl and Violet (Bugbee) Miller, was born November 10, 1936, in Fergus Falls, MN. She grew up and received her education in Fergus Falls. She was employed by Josef's School of Hair Design in Fargo.
On October 24, 1959, Glenice married Maurice Hansen, in Zion Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls. After their marriage, they lived in Dilworth, MN, and later moved to Glyndon. Glenice enjoyed baking, cooking, and entertaining friends and family.
She is survived by two sons, Glen Hansen, Wolverton, MN, and Marty Hansen, Glyndon; a granddaughter, Molly Hansen, Barnesville, MN; sisters, Marlys (Joseph) Ovlinger in Ohio, Dolly (Bob) Dickerson, Perham, MN, and Joanne (Bill) Walkup, Dilworth; brother, Lester (Beverly) Miller, Perham; sister-in-law, Darlene (Ken) Loomes in British Columbia, Canada; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice, who died in 2005, her parents, and a brother, Doyle.
