RACINE - Mr. Osmund "Ozzie' O. Odders, 75, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 6, 1996.

He was born in Thisted, Denmark on June 26, 1921. He was united in marriage to Phyllis M. Raquse on October 16, 1943, in Racine. He was a resident of Racine until his retirement when he moved to Lower Post Lake.

Ozzie served in the United States Army Infantry during World War II. He was employed as a Carpenter until his retirement.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffry (Renee) Odders of Plover; one daughter, Gretchen Odders of Napa, Calif.; two grandchildren, Elizabeth (James) White of Evanston, Ill. and Jacob Odders of Racine; two brothers, Bernard K. (Lillian) Odders of Racine and Andrew (Geri) Mogensen of Chicago, Ill.; and two sisters, Peggy Storck of Racine and Irma Cravens of Chicago, Ill. He is further survived by a nephew, Carl Storck Jr. and niece, Joan (Mel) Zemke and many other nieces and nephews and good friend, Leonard Sakkinen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis on June 16, 1990.
