Avis-omtale: Kim Wilcox of Beatrice and Bill Petersen of Barneston were united in marriage on May 25, 1988, at 5 p.m. in St. Pauk Lutheran Church in Beatrice. The bride chose a gown of satin featuring soft flowers of Venise lace eaged in a trim of pearl loops framing the sweetheart neckline. Dangling pearls accented the back bodice and long fitted sleeves that featured shiny motifs. The chapel-length train held window pearl of Venise flowers, The studded pearl pouff fell into fingertip-length veiling with ribbed edging held by a ceasar's wreath highlighted by pearls and delicate flowers. The groom wore a black tuxedo with tails with a white vest and tie. Serving as matron of honor was Bobbie Hroch. Bridesmaids were Kari Lewis of Beatrice, Kris Wilcox, sister-in-law of the bride, and Sheri (Wilcox) Kushen of Houston, Texas, sister of the bride. Christy Buhr wa8 personal attendant. Flower girl was the daughter of the groom, Jessie Petersen. Billy Schwan was best man. Groomsmen were Jim Gronewold of Beatrice, and Everett Burger and Robin Holtmeier, both of Lincoln. Collin Spicka, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer. Servin as ushers were Todd Wilcox, brother of the bride, Steve Bergmeier and Steve Garton, both of Beatrice, and Mitch McDougall of DeWitt. Pam Garton and Chris Schwan were at the guest books. A reception was held at the auditorium in Plymouth. Serving as host and hostess were Clarence and. Vi Kunc, aunt and uncle of the groom, and Lawrence and Carla Wilcox, aunt and uncle of the bride. After a honeymoon trip to Table Rock Lake in Branson, Mo., the couple is residing in rural Wymore.
