Nekrolog: The Rev. Leo Andersen HAMPTON The Rev. Leo Andersen, 84, of Hampton, died Tuesday (Jan. 24, 1989) at Franklin General Hospital, Hampton, of natural causes. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hampton, with the Rev. Tim Larsen officiating. Burial will be in the Coulter Cemetery. Mr. Andersen was born June 2, : 1904, at Racine, Wis., to Otto and Abelona (Jorgenson) Andersen. He was educated at Blair, Neb., and attended Dana College. He also attended the University of Minnesota, Trinity Seminar. On June 20, 1933, he was married to Esther Marie Nelson at Cedar Falls. He was a retired Lutheran minister and had resided in Hampton since 1969. The Rev. Andersen served churches in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa and North Dakota. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton. Survivors include his wife, Esther Marie; two daughters, Mrs. Byron (Lois) Gdie, St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Howard (Mary) Richey, Denver, Colo.; one son,' Dick of Indianapolis, Ind.; four sisters, Mrs. Esther Reschke, St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Helen Trolle, Mrs. Ella Christiansen and Mrs. Mae Dahlke, all of Racine, Wis.; six grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
