De Witt - Christian Petersen, 76, DeWitt, died
Saturday afternoon, April 9, in a Lincoln hospital.
Born Oct. 18, 1906 near Curtis an lived in DeWitt most of life. Was former president of Petersen Manufacturing Company, DeWitt and was a consultant and on the board of directors of the company at time of death. Former Mayor of DeWitt and served on Village Board. Member of DeWitt United Methodist Church and DeWitt Civic Club.
Survivors: Wift, Lillie; sons, Christian M. of Kansas City, Mo. and William D. of Beatrice; daughter Mrs. Steven (Karen) Bergmeier, Beatrice; two grandchildren; brothers, Ralph Petersen and Richard Petersen, both of DeWitt; sister, Harriet M. Fort, DeWitt, Preceded in death by an infant son and one sister.

Miss Erdman ls Bride Of C. Petersen
Miss Lillie Erdman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heye Erdman of DeWitt, and Christian Petersen were married Jan. 23 at the De-Witt Methodist pargonage. The Rev. S. G. Rasmusson performed the ceremony.
Miss Claribel Carlson of Lincoln was the bride's attendant and Ralph Petersen served his brother as best man.
A breakfast was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fort after which the couple left on a wedding trip to Miami by way of New Orleans.
