Parents, Two Sisters, Two Brothers Survive
Charles City - Philip Thomsen, 10 year old son of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Thomsen of Charles City, drowned in the Cedar River when he fell in near the Beauty dam late Monday afternoon.
The lad's father is a pharmacist at the A.B.C. Dodd drug store here.
It was reported that the lad was playing with toy boats when he fell into the water.
Besides his parents he is survived by 2 brothers, Lt. Frank L Thomsen, Seattle, Wash., and Richard of Charles City, and two sisters Jeanette and Mrs. Vivian Walters of San Francisco, Cal.
