Nekrolog efter hustru:
Nancy M. Thomsen, 82, a resident of Dallas, died at the Dallas Retirement Village Tuesday, January 18, 2005. She was born on July 26, 1922 in Douglas, Wyoming, the daughter of Robert L. and Edna Shone Ewel Mooney.
She moved to Pasco, WA, at a young age. She was a graduate of Pasco High School.
She married Frank L. Thomsen on January 29, 1944, in Pasco. Nancy was a military wife and was on the first boatload of wives bound for Japan as a part of the restoration. Nancy and Frank lived in many areas of the world as he served in the military for 30-plus years.
They retired in Pasco and moved to Dallas in 2001. She was a homemaker. During their travels throughtout the world, Nancy taught the incoming officers' wives the art of etiquette. She was a proper lady who enjoyed luncheons, golf, and was a avid needlepoint stitcher.
She helped organize and was the first President of the food bank in Ft. Gordon, GA, for the Army Community Services and helped organize the food bank in Pasco.
She was a member of P.E.O. and the Episcopal Church of Our Savior in Pasco and St. Hilda's Episcopal Church in Monmouth.
She is survived by her husband Frank of Dallas; daughter Shone Stagg of Independence; and son Flip of France; son-in-law Nick, granddaughter, Zoe and husband Tim, and Tristan.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, January 21, in the Dallas Retirement Village, Sunday, January 23rd in the Monmouth St. Hilda's Episcopal Church and Thursday, January 27th at 4:00 pm at Bruce Lee Funeral Home in Pasco.
The Bollman Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Nekrolog:
Dallas - Frank Lamont Thomsen, of Dallas, peacefully passed away on July 26, 2010. He was born on August 4, 1919, in Kimballton, IA, to Frank and Julia (Neilsen) Thomsen. He grew up in Iowa and graduated from high school just prior to receiving his commission to the Army.
He married Nancy Helen Mooney on January 29, 1944, in Pasco, WA.
He and his family moved several times, as a result of his service to his country. He was proud of and patriotic to his country. He served in the Asian Pacific conflict, Japan, Yugoslavia, Germany, & in Vietnam. His sacrifice for the country he loved was unwavering. Prior to President Eisenhower becoming President, Frank had the honor of handing him the news of his promotion to Lieutenant Colonel. After retiring from the service he lived in Pasco, WA, for 30 years, prior to moving to Dallas, OR, in 2000.
Frank also enjoyed golfing, a nice glass of Chardonnay, and keeping up on current events by watching the news. He also loved his grandchildren and the times they had together as a family. He had a great sense of humor and was a quick witted, fun person to be with. Frank was also a man of faith, and served in the Episcopal Church.
Frank is preceded in death by his companion of 61 years, Nancy Helen, in 2005. He is also preceded in death by his son, Flip, in 2007.
He is survived by his daughter, Shone (Nick) Stagg, of Independence, OR. He also has two surviving grandchildren: Zoe Stagg, who is serving in the US Army, and Tristan Stagg, of Monmouth, OR.
Memorial services are pending with Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center.
