Aynor Lange, 56, a life-long resident of Mullen, died unexpectedly Friday, November 13, following a heart attack.
He was born at Wells, 30 miles north of Mullen, on October 11, 1914.
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, November 16, from the United Methodist Church in Mullen with the Rev. Dwight Kemling officiating, assisted by the Rev. M.J. Koprowski. The Dry Valley Quartet sang during the services.
Pallbearers were Jack Carlson, Leonard Hauck, Glen Garner, John Drake, Wesley James and Clair Carpenter.
Interment was in the Cedarview Cemetery at Mullen.
Aynor Kamp Lange was the eldest son of Walter and Elva Lange.
He was married to Bernice Wilde on April 17, 1938 and the couple had two adopted children, Frank and Lana.
Mr. Lange was baptized into the First United Methodist Church in Mullen on April 7, 1950.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion. He was in partnership with his father and brother in a construction company.
He is survived by his father; his son, Frank, of Anchorage, Alaska; his daughter, Mrs. Dennis Key of Rifle, Colo.; a brother, Warren of Mullen; sisters Mrs. Echo Russell of Des Moines, Iowa and Dr. Una Lange of Lincoln; and four grandsons and one granddaughter.
