Nekrolog: Delain Clambey Miller, 88, of Fergus Falls, died February 11, 2021, at his home in rural Fergus Falls, MN. Delain was born on October 23, 1932, in Friberg Township, the son of Harry and Ida (Clambey) Miller of rural Fergus Falls, MN. He graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1950. Delain joined the Army in 1953 and was honorably discharged after 2 years of service. On September 4, 1953 he married the love of his life, Gloria Marlene Jorgenson. They were married for 67 years. Delain was self-employed with his brother, Wesley for over 35 years. They owned Miller Brothers Construction Company. He was a member of Tonseth Lutheran Church of rural Erhard, MN. He enjoyed collecting cars, fishing, hunting, bowling, playing cards, bingo, going to casinos, dancing, and most of all his family. Blessed be the memory of Delain Miller. Preceding him in death were his parents, Harry and Ida Miller; Brothers, Arlow and Wesley Miller; sister-in-law, Mildred Miller and nephew Dana Miller; great granddaughter, Hannah Marie Jax; along with numerous brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Miller of Fergus Falls; three children, Allen Miller of Edina, MN; Vicki (Gene) Dohrer of Fergus Falls, MN and Dawn Miller of Fergus Falls; Grandchildren, Amber (Andy) Ackley of Rochester, MN, Ashley (Jason) Jax of Shakopee, MN, Alison (Brandon Mensing) Dohrer of Lakeville, MN, Gunnar Audette of Fergus Falls, MN, Hunter Audette of Fergus Falls, MN, and Wyatt Goetz of Fergus Falls, MN; Great grandchildren Emma, Anton, Easton, and Elisabeth Ackley of Rochester, MN; Olivia Jax of Shakopee, MN; Hadley and Hudson Mensing of Lakeville, MN; Ava and Wesley Audette of Fergus Falls, MN.
Nekrolog efter hustru: Gloria Miller July 30, 1935 - June 12, 2023 Gloria Marlene (Jorgenson) Miller, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Monday, June 12, 2023, at Broen Memorial Home, in Fergus Falls. Gloria was born July 30, 1935, the daughter of Erick and Clara (Ouren) Jorgenson. She was baptized and confirmed at Hedemarken Lutheran Church. Gloria attended school District #221 and graduated from Pelican Rapids High School. On September 4, 1953, she married Delain C. Miller, they were married for 67 years. The couple resided in Friberg Township. After Delain's death, Gloria moved to Woodland Lodge, and later to the Broen Home. She was a member of Tonseth Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School, and was a member of the Ladies Aide. She enjoyed baking, gardening, reading, bowling, played cards, bingo, casino trips, and fishing. She also volunteered at the Food Shelf. Preceding her in death were her husband, Delain; her parents, Erick and Clara Jorgenson; sisters: Sylvia Hanneman and Ruby Hanneman; brothers: Harley, Elroy, Edward, and Gaylen Jorgenson; great-granddaughter: Hannah Jax; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces; and nephews. Gloria is survived by her three children: Allen Miller of Edina, Vicki (Gene) Dohrer of Fergus Falls, and Dawn Miller of Fergus Falls; grandchildren: Amber (Andy) Ackley of Rochester, Ashley (Jason) Jax of Shakopee, Alison (Brandon Mensing) Dohrer of Lakeville, Gunnar Audette, Hunter (Michelle Evenson) Audette of Fergus Falls, and Wyatt Goetz of Fergus Falls; great-grandchildren: Emma, Anton, Easton, and Elisabeth Ackley, Olivia Jax, Hadley and Hudson Mensing, Ava and Wesley Audette, Hudson Wendt, and another one due in August; and several nieces and nephews.
